Yes, within the GoHighLevel (GHL) platform, you can change the language and accent of your voice AI agent by accessing the settings where you can select from a variety of preset voices with different accents and languages. Right now, Voice AI supports only a number of languages, but expect it to keep evolving from time to time.
The following are the languages it currently supports:
- English (American, British, Australian)
- German
- Spanish
- French
- Portuguese (Brazil)
- Italian
- Dutch
- MultiLingual (English & Spanish)
⚠ Important Note:
When switching from one language to another, make sure to change some Voice AI Actions instructing it to "exactly say something.". Make sure to convert the text there to the language you're switching to.
A good example of this is the Trigger a Workflow actions in the Agent Goals section.
When you open up these actions, you'll see the field "What to say when the workflow is being triggered."
The short label says, "The agent will exactly say the above message before triggering the workflow" and even if your agent is set to another language, the new language will be bypassed, and it'll say what is entered in that field.
Check your agent prompt as well for any instructions to "say exactly" a phrase or sentence, instruction, etc..
